All MakerBot Materials for Method are manufactured to exacting diameter and quality specifications. Shipped in a vacuum-sealed metalized polyester bag, quality is preserved right up until opening, giving you excellent build quality and faster 3D printing


The Smart Spool™ provides valuable information including material type, colour, and amount remaining via an RFID chip directly to MakerBot Print, while a built-in desiccant absorbs any moisture exposure during the material loading process. Allowing you to have complete control of your 3D printing.

Bridging the gap between industrial and desktop 3D printing

The new Makerbot Method is the latest generation from Makerbot, utlising patents from Stratasys they have created a 3D printer which is more faster and more precise breaking through the technology barrier.

Features included in the Method are:

  • Dual Performance Extrudures - The extrudures are built from the ground up to accelerate print times while providing dimensional accuracy.
  • Circulating Heated Chamber - Control the temperature and quality of every layer not just the frst. While heated build plates are efective at reducing warping, Method takes this further with full active heat immersion during the entire duration of the print. 
  • Ultra-rigid Metal Frame Construction - A structurally-optimized metal frame runs the full length of the body to ofset fexing. Less fexing means more consistent prints with better part accuracy and fewer failures.
  • Dry-sealed Material Bays - These form a near-perfect seal to keep material free of damaging humidity. A suite of built-in sensors provides that your material is stored in its optimal environment a feature previously only available in industrial 3D printers.
